Protection of your data is our concern

Thank you for your interest in our company and our products or services. We also want you to feel secure with regard to protection of your personal data when visiting our Internet pages. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. As a matter of principle we comply with the regulations of the Federal Law on Data Protection.
We would like you to know when we record data and how we use the data. We have installed technical and organisational measures which ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us and external service providers.

Personal Data

Personal data is information relating to your identity. For example, this includes information on your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. To use our Internet pages it is not necessary for you to divulge personal data. However, in certain cases we require your name and address for us to provide the requested services. The same applies to sending information material and ordered goods or to answer individual questions. Wherever this is necessary, you will be informed accordingly. In addition, we only store and process data which you have provided voluntarily or automatically. In as far as you are using our services, only those data are generally recorded which we need to fulfil these services. In as far as additional data is concerned, this is voluntary information. The processing of personal data is performed exclusively to fulfil the requested service and to safeguard our own justified business interests.

Purpose of personal data

In general we use the personal data you provided to answer your queries, process your orders or to give you access to certain information or offers. Of course, we respect your wish not to use your personal data to support our client relations. We will not sell your personal data to third parties or market them otherwise.

Purpose-specific use

We will only record, process and use the personal data provided online for the purposes mentioned by you. Passing your personal data to third parties will not be done without your necessary consent. Recording and transfer of personal data to government institutions and authorities entitled to disclosure, will only be performed within the limits of applicable laws or if we are obliged to do so by a court decision. Our employees are obliged to secrecy and compliance with the regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act.

Use of e-mail address for sending newsletters

For sending newsletters we use the so-called double opt-in method, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter per e-mail if you have expressly confirmed beforehand that we should activate the newsletter service. We will then send you an e-mail message asking you to click the link on this e-mail to confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter.

If, at a later date, you no longer wish to receive any more newsletters from us, you can revoke your consent without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs at the base rate. A message in text form (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) addressed to the contact data given in the Disclaimer is quite sufficient. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

Privacy Statement Regarding the Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and which allow analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies on your use of the website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. As IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google first abbreviates your IP address for countries within the European Union or other contractual countries to the treaty of the European Commercial Zone, so that precise traceability back to you is rendered impossible.

Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to prepare reports on the website activities, and to supply other services to the website operator connected with use of the website or the Internet. The IP address submitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be reconciled with other Google data.

You can prevent storage of the cookies by appropriate settings on your browser, however, we should point out that you may then not be able to fully utilise all functions on this website. You can also prevent recording of the data generated by the cookie relating to the data of your use of the website, including your IP address, to Google, as well as processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific user-related information on the user's terminal device while he/she is using the website. Cookies enable us to ascertain the frequency of use and number of people visiting the site, analyse the behaviour patterns involved in the use of the site, as well as make our website more user-friendly. Cookies continue to be stored after the end of a browser session and can be retrieved when the site is visited again. If you do not wish this to be done, you should set your Internet browser in such a way that it refuses to accept cookies.

Safety

We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All our employees and all third parties involved in data processing are obliged to comply the Federal Data Protection Law and the confidential management of personal data.
If personal data is recorded and processed, the information is transmitted in encrypted form to prevent misuse by third parties. Our security measures are updated continuously in line with technological advances.

Changes to our data protection terms

We reserve the right to change our safety and data protection measures in as far as dictated by technical advance. In these circumstances we will adapt our references to data protection accordingly. Therefore, please always observe the current version of our data protection statement.

Links

In as far as you use links provided as part of our Internet pages, these are not covered by our data protection statement. If we provide links, we attempt to ensure that these also comply with our data protection and safety standards. However, we have no influence on the compliance of other providers in terms of data protection and safety regulations. Therefore, please observe the information provided on the Internet pages of other providers as to their data protection statements.

Right to information

You can receive information on the data stored about you at any time. If required, please write to the address of the data protection officer given below.

Right to objection

Furthermore, you can withdraw your consent to us recording and storing your personal data at any time. If required, please also write to the address of the data protection officer given below.
