Award for regional model project "Regionale Gemeinschaftsverpflegung"

In a selected circle, Labor LS SE & Co. KG from Bad Bocklet was honored with a special award. Oliver Kröner, representative of the Department of Food, Agriculture and Forestry in Bad Neustadt, presented the company with a certificate as part of the model project "Regionale Gemeinschaftsverpflegung" (Regional Community Catering). This recognition acknowledges the commitment in the area of regional product use and consolidates the role of the laboratory as a lighthoue and pioneer in the district of Bad Kissingen.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of the managing director Dr. Jürgen Balles, as well as Melanie Braun, who is responsible for the cafeteria. In addition to Mr. Kröner, Beate Laumeyer from the Department of Food, Agriculture and Forestry from Würzburg, Frank Bernhard from the District Office of Bad Kissingen and Teresa Öchsner from the Lower Franconian Heritage Agency took part.

Labor LS has been relying on cooperation with local suppliers for several years now. Dr. Jürgen Balles emphasizes this explicitly: "Sourcing regional products is a conscious decision of the owners and the management. We want to strengthen the regional economy and our employees are happy." The goal is fresh products and short transport routes. Regional suppliers of Labor LS were also present at the ceremony.
